Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity’s success is the result of collaboration with volunteers, agencies, businesses, and other non-profits. These partnerships allow us the ability to share strengths and broaden our impact. We partner in a variety of ways: on the job training, recycling/reusing/repurposing, youth education and job skills training in construction, externship opportunities on all our jobsites, admin office and the store, homeowner education, neighborhood development, financial education and more.
We appreciate the opportunity to partner with many of our local organizations and individuals. We always welcome new opportunities, together we accomplish more!
We strengthen neighborhoods, improve educational achievements, and help our homeowners take the first steps to break the cycle of generational poverty. As part of our collaborative efforts, Perry Tech will build one complete home a year in The Vine Development. Utilizing their construction, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical students for labor.
Additionally, Perry provides the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installation services for all our homes, including homes builds they do not provide construction students on. This provides the students real-life hands-on experience in their field while providing a significant cost savings to the homeowner.
