Meloney Rosen

Meloney Rosen joined Yakima Valley Partners Habitat (YVPHFH) in April of 2019 after serving on the board for several years and as the interim director for 5 months.  YVPHFH is a faith based, 501 c 3 non-profit housing provider. Building homes, community, and hope through self-help HomeBuild, YouthBuild, and Thrift Store.  Our programs are designed to build strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter.  This is Meloney’s first role in a non-profit, however her work and education has been a perfect mix to address all the facets of Habitat. 

Meloney was born, raised, and is raising her family in Yakima Valley.  She attended YVC for general studies and obtained a business management certificate from Trend College.  She has several years’ experience as HR and Operations manager in a retail environment, Meloney was the first and only female partner of Argus Insurance Inc, a regional insurance brokerage.  Meloney worked in Real Estate both as a Title Insurance Rep and most recently, partnered in opening the Keller Williams Yakima Valley Realty office.

Meloney States “God planned this windy road, preparing me for this role with Habitat. Finding a career that checks all the boxes (community service, supporting families, challenging, etc.) is like finding your way home.”

Alejandra Tapia

Alejandra Tapia handles all coordination of volunteers on job sites, store, and administration office as well as manage the daily operations of the affiliate’s administrative office. Alejandra initially got involved with Habitat for Humanity as a volunteer in 2016 and has since continued to support the mission statement in the Yakima Valley.  Alejandra enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found exploring the great outdoors Washington state has to offer. She is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace and believes that challenges make life interesting, but overcoming those challenges makes life meaningful.  

Sierra Gonzales

Sierra is a recent graduate from the Business Technology & Accounting program at Perry Technical Institute and is eager to contribute to our wonderful organization that gives hope to so many families. Sierra enjoys being outdoors, traveling to new places, baking delicious scones, and spending time with her family and friends. Sierra was born and raised in Yakima. With family being one of the things she holds dearest to her heart, Habitat for Humanity is a perfect opportunity for her to help families experience finding strength, stability, and self-reliance.

Deisy Martinez

Deisy Martinez is the Homeowner Services Director for Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity; she has been helping families get new homes with Habitat for the last 3 years. Deisy was raised in the Yakima Valley by a single mother of 8 and she believes family is the most important part of life. Deisy’s motivation and passion comes from her daughter and helping families achieve their dreams of becoming homeowners. In her free time, she enjoys cooking while spending time with her family and friends.

Greg Rapp

Greg has more than 35 years of construction experience where he worked all over the valley. Greg started out in plumbing sales, became a plumber a short time after, then jumped into General Contracting. He
also has experience in property/project management and restoration/project management. Greg discovered his passion for new construction building. “What I love about working here is it’s all about team play! I‘ve also discovered that working with/for the community, requires a whole different perspective on work life. My/our focus is all about the people and not about the sole constant grind of getting the job done on time to make a paycheck.”

David Reeder

David is one of the Construction Site Supervisors and has worked for Habitat since June 2017. David describes being a site Supervisor as his dream job! David loves to work with great people who match his passion for Habitat’s mission. He enjoys working side-by-side dedicated volunteers to build quality homes for deserving families. Who wouldn’t enjoy my job?

Gary Green

Gary is one of our Site Supervisors and has been with Habitat since July 2019. Before that, Gary spent 25 years in the roofing and insulation industry. When he is not working, you will find him spending time with one of 17 grandkids. If he isn’t spending time with his family, you might catch him riding his motorcycle or spending some time outdoors. Gary’s favorite part about working at Habitat is being able to build homes that are designed to each family’s need, getting to know the homeowners and the wonderful volunteers.

Miguel is the General Manager of the Habitat Store and has been with us for 8 years. During this time Miguel has gained patience, as well as responsibilities. Miguel enjoys spending his days helping customers find exactly what they want by being his cheerful self!  During his days off, you can find Miguel spending quality time with his family while he is watching football and shouting, “Go Seahawks!”

Robert is the Operations Manager who oversees the Habitat Store. Robert has been supporting Habitat’s Mission for the last 17 years and takes pride in working here. Robert loves to see how powerful and impactful that Habitat Store has in our community. Robert is one of our very own Habitat Homeowners! Every time Robert sees a new family move into their Habitat home; his heart fills up with deep emotions because he is a part of the Habitat for Humanity Family!

Jessica Reyes

Jessica is one of our Cashiers at the Habitat Store and has been with Habitat since 2018. Being born and raised in the Lower Valley, Jessica found herself at Habitat, ready and dedicated to serving the community of the Yakima Valley. Jessica enjoys the fast-paced environment Habitat offers while interacting with our loyal customers. When she is not working, you will find her spending quality time at home with the company of her 7 children.
