Home Build ProgramHabitat for Humanity provides a unique opportunity for participants to build and purchase their own homes through a mortgage that is tailored to their income. We work closely with our partner participants to provide the knowledge, tools, and support needed to become successful homeowners, walking alongside them at every step.
To qualify, applicants must demonstrate a need for housing, meet income and credit guidelines, and be willing to partner with Habitat by contributing sweat equity. Sweat equity can include hours spent working on their own home, helping to build other homes, or participating in Habitat activities. This hands-on approach helps keep costs down while creating a strong sense of pride, ownership, and connection to the community. |
