​The Yakima Habitat Store is a fundraising and stewardship activity of Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity. We accept new or gently used building materials, home improvement items, appliances, furniture, cabinetry, home decor and more. When you shop the Store, you’re helping build stronger foundations and brighter tomorrows.​ ​

Every purchase and donation at the Yakima Habitat Store helps fund homeownership opportunities across Yakima County. All donations are sold to the public at economical, fair prices. All profits support Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, community, and hope. Together, we transform your gifts into lasting impact for our neighbors.​

Store Donations: What We Accept

Contractors, builders, and remodelers: Instead of hauling usable materials to the dump, bring them to the Habitat
Store. Donating saves you disposal fees and keeps quality items out of the landfill. Plus, your donation helps fund
Habitat for Humanity's mission to build homes, community, and hope right here in Yakima County.

WE ACCEPT:

• Sinks, toilets, bathtubs (no chips or stains)
• Cabinets in good working order
• Working appliances
• Doors and windows without damage
• Lumber and plywood (no scrap, exposed nails or screws)
• Flooring and tile (unused, clean and undamaged)
• Light fixtures, switches, and wiring
• Door handles and cabinet knobs (bagged and complete)

To schedule a donation pick up, please call

We pick up donations in Yakima County Tuesday – Friday during business hours.

To ensure a successful donation please note:

• All items must be in good condition. Our knowledgeable staff who come to pick up your donation have the final determination if an item is suitable for donation. Should you have any questions please give us a call (509) 576-8077.
• Our driver may have to decline/reschedule a donation if they cannot safely retrieve your donation.
• We are currently scheduling donation pickups 1-2 weeks in advance.
