Meloney Rosen joined Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity (YVPHFH) in April of 2019 after serving on the board for several years and as the interim director for 5 months. This is Meloney’s first role in a non-profit, however, her work and education have been a perfect mix to address all the facets of Habitat.
Meloney was born, raised, and is raising her family in the Yakima Valley. She attended YVC for general studies and obtained a business management certificate from Trend College. She has several years’ experience as a Human Resources and Operations manager in a retail environment and was the first and only female partner of Argus Insurance Inc, a regional insurance brokerage. Meloney worked in real estate both as a Title Insurance Rep and most recently, partnered in opening the Keller Williams Yakima Valley Realty office.
Meloney stated “God planned this windy road, preparing me for this role with Habitat. Finding a career that checks all the boxes (community service, supporting families, challenging, etc.) is like finding your way home.”
