What a joy it is to serve Yakima Valley Partners and our families as the Executive Director! I have been in that position since October 2003. Prior to joining Yakima Valley Partners as exec, I was on the board. I truly feel blessed to be in this position of service.
My background is not in construction. I grew up in Yakima, graduating from Eisenhower High School. After graduation from Whitworth College, I began a 30 year career in Juvenile Corrections and Children and Family Services. In 1995 I became Director of Missions at the First Presbyterian Church of Yakima. Travels have taken me to Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, Ireland, Wales, Palestine, Israel, and Ethiopia.
At the heart of Yakima Valley Partners are people: the families we work with, the wonderful dedicated staff, board and volunteers. We seek to serve in a unique housing ministry. If you would like to be part of that challenge, please give us a call. There is a place for you! |
