An Ode to Summer Workcamps 2008

 

 

 

What an exciting summer of work camps this past summer.  We started out in May with St. Matthews Lutheran from Beaverton, OR and ended in August with Westgate Chapel from Edmonds, WA.  We had a total of 640 people who came to help Make A Dream Come True. 

 

 

 

 

Over the summer there was a lot of work done on 2 houses in Granger, 1 house in Toppenish and 1 house in Yakima.  We have held 3 dedications for the De la Cruz family on R Street in Yakima, The Diaz family in Granger and the Garza family in Toppenish. 

 

Everyone did a great job this summer and we all thank everyone for their hard work and time that you spent here in Yakima.  Work Camp 09 is looking to be another great summer of hard work we should be working primarily in Yakima for a good part of the summer!
