NEWS!
This will be a significant addition to the Fruitvale/Castlevale area of Yakima. Water and sewer will become available to many of the homes in that area. Water, sewer, electrical, and street development have occurred. Two families are awaiting the start of building. Three additional families will be chosen soon.
This will be the beginning of a long awaited change. Pictures below are of Habitat volunteers from St. Therese Catholic Church (Seattle, WA) cleaning the lot in 2004!

In
late September, Yakima Valley Partners began building on a 20 home
development on Hathway and N 30th Avenue in Yakima. The City of
Yakima’s Office of Neighborhood Development, the State’s Department of
Community, Trade, and Economic Development, OIC, and Yakima Valley Partners
are partnering together to develop the property. Yakima Valley Partners will
be building five of the twenty homes.
