First Presbyterian Church is partnering with YVPHFH for the SEVENTH year in a row to build yet another house to be called “home” by a low-income family! The Quintana Family is currently living in a small house with two bedrooms, one bathroom, built with no foundation or insulation, and plagued by leaky pipes. They own the house outright, located at 411 South 6th Street, so the new house will be built in front of the old one, and the old one torn down after the construction is complete.
Before
Construction
Everyone helps out with the construction, even 3-year old Daniel Quintana!
One week later we've got walls and the start of a roof. (You turn your back for a week and look how much they've gotten done!)

The Finished Home
The Habitat Home also includes grass (which wasn't placed until the following spring), and also a stove and refrigerator for the kitchen (which arrived after the dedication).
Dedication
After the dedication, the Quintanas served a full meal, including bbq and chicken and mole.
