| Central Lutheran Church, Christ Lutheran Church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church & Westminster Presbyterian Church are working together in the building of a simple, descent home for a family in need! |
Just in time for our Lutheran/Westminster partnership for building a home at 1314 Jerome was about to kick off, we were notified that Thrivent for Lutherans, an insurance and investment organizations working with Lutherans across the United States selected Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity as a recipient of a grant which will allow us to build one additional home here in the Yakima Valley. We feel very blessed to receive this grant. Thrivent participated in assisting with a home in Yakima in 2003. |

The house will be built at 1314 Jerome in Yakima. As you can see in the first photo, an old shack was on this property, and, as you can see in the second photo, it's gone- soon to be the site of a simple decent home for a family in need!
